Events across the state celebrating Oregon Wine include wine flights, wine dinners, wine walks, festivals, a movie pairing and much more
Portland, OR, May 17, 2023…Oregon Wine Month may beat the halfway point, but Oregon wine lovers still have time to take advantage of the plethora of Oregon events including wine tasting and learning this May.Now in its 15thyear, Oregon Wine Monthcelebrates the quality and diversity of Oregon wine through engaging in events and experiences happening all across the state.
The Oregon wine calendar of events is packed this May. Here’s a sampling of ones to come, divided into major winemaking regions of the Willamette Valley, Southern Oregon, Columbia Gorge, Walla Walla, and Eastern Oregon with Snake River Valley and Columbia Valley AVAs.
Willamette Valley
Newberg, May 20:Celebrate there-opening of Flaneur’s Blue Barnat La Belle Promenade Vineyard for an open house style party. Admission includes a flight of five new release wines.
Dayton, May 20: The first annual event of its kind,AAPI Food & Wine Festattendees can enjoy curated bites from AAPI-owned Portland restaurants paired with wineries: Toki, Matta, HeyDay, Baon Kainan, Kim Jong Grillin, Bhuna, KauKau, Magna Kusina, Sibeiho and Sunrice, CHO Wines, Et Filles, Evening Land, Hundred Suns and Shiba Wichern.
Dundee,May 20-21: Nysa Vineyard offersa specialvertical flight of Leda’s Reserve Pinot noirfrom vintages of 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 of their popular reserve wine from the original plantings in 1990. New spring releases wines as well, including sparkling wine.
